Your journey begins right at your hotel, where your private guide and driver will pick you up in a comfortable van. You will then enjoy a scenic drive from Lucerne to the base of Fronalpstock. After approximately 45 minutes on the road, the adventure begins with a ride on the Stoosbahn, the world’s steepest funicular. This impressive 7-minute ride takes you up to Stoos, a charming, car-free mountain village. Here, you’ll have time for a short walk and to take in breathtaking mountain panoramas.

From Stoos, we continue the journey with two chairlifts leading to the summit of Fronalpstock. The peak reaches nearly 2,000 meters (6,560 ft) above sea level, offering breathtaking panoramic views.  Once at the top, we will take a break to enjoy a coffee or a meal, depending on the time of day. You’ll have between 1 to 3 hours to explore the area, take photos, or simply relax—this flexibility is one of the great advantages of a private tour.

For the descent, you can choose between taking the chairlift back down or, for those who enjoy hiking, walking along one of the scenic trails. In winter, there’s also an option to descend by sled along a 2.4 km (1.5-mile) snow trail, adding an extra touch of adventure to the experience.

This tour is suitable for children of all ages and is partially wheelchair accessible. A guide, who also serves as the driver, will pick you up directly from your hotel and return you after the tour, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience throughout.

To begin your reservation process, kindly provide the necessary details for the trip. Following that, we will promptly send you an email confirming the availability of dates. Subsequently, a secure payment link will be provided for you to make a 20% down payment and secure the selected date. This down payment serves as a financial guarantee in case of client cancellation. The remaining payment can be made on the day of the tour, either by credit card or in cash. Please be aware that we can only confirm your reservation upon receipt of the 20% down payment. If you wish to cancel the tour, you can do so up to 30 days prior to the tour date and receive a full refund.
